WAN Statistics

In addition to WAN status and alarms, the Secure Router 3120s collect and
store various types of performance statistics. This data helps you analyze
the quality of a WAN link between a Secure Router 3120 and the far-end
WAN equipment.
To display these statistics, use the following commands:

Power Supply Alarms

The 3120 platform will only generate an alarm if there are two power
supplies installed and one fails. If there is only one power supply installed,
and it fails, the 3120 will essentially be turned off.
The summary alarm contacts (rear of unit) will generate an alarm when
the unit has no power.

Network Tests

If the Secure Router 3120 is not working correctly after verifying that the
cabling is correct between the Secure Router 3120 and the external network
equipment, run these basic tests to isolate the problem to the LAN port,
WAN link, or serial interface ports.
