Assem bly of the GCEC-340 takes professional installers
about 1 hour to complete.
I f this is the first time you have assembled this type o f equipment, plan on significantly more time. How­
ever, i f you acquire the appropriate tools, obtain assistance, and follow the assembly steps sequentially,
the process w ill take time, b u t is fa irly easy.

ing the illustrations only, im p o rta n t safety notes and
oth er tips are included in the text.
Some pieces may have extra holes th a t you w ill not
use. Use only those holes indicated in the instruc­
tions and illustrations.

To find o u t the length o f a particular bolt, measure its
shank (the long, narrow part beneath the head) using
the ruler below. Refer to the fo llow ing diagram:
