6.14 SANITATION

The boat is equipped with high quality and advanced toilets which are easy to use.
Periodically you should turn each manual valve open and close a few times to kept the ball
valve in good operating order. All valves are non corrosive but seals should be lubricated. Use a
head lube from time to time. Always refer to the toilet manufacturers guidelines for
maintenance procedures and schedules.
NOTE: It is important to flush the toilet and holding tank well to not to let solid waste remain
in the pipe or tank for an extended time as it will consolidate and cause a blockage

6.15 PLUMBING

All tanks (water, waste, fuel) have inspection ports on top for access inside the tank. A visual
check is recommended for possible containment and cleaning. There are a number of filters
around the boat for a variety of devices. All filters have a clear canister for easy visual
inspection.
Any thru hull should be regularly checked for growth that blocks or restricts the flow of raw
water. Also turn the seacock on and off to ensure they are good operating order.

6.16 ELECTRICAL

Corrosion and dust are 2 of the most common things to watch for. Any electrical contacts that
are corroded should be cleaned or replaced. Dust should be removed from electrical breakers
contacts and fuses. A pressure pack can from any electronics store will be able to provide this.
Refer to electrical manufactures user manual for further maintenance advice.

6.17 LIFTING AND SETTING ON HARD

Your boat is designed to be lifted by slings positioned near the main and aft engine bay
bulkheads. Always use a spreader bar so the points are loaded with an inward angle of 3-5
degrees. The boats natural Center Of Gravity (COG) is approximately 1000mm aft of the mast
which will require the fwd sling to sit approximately 400mm fwd of the main bulkhead.
Depending on your load the actual balance can be forward or aft of this point. The topping lift
and lazy jacks should be released and tied to the gooseneck to avoid entanglement on the
lifting gear.
