About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians and knowledgeable end users.
It provides information for the installation and use of the motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The Supermicro X12STD-F supports the Intel® Xeon E-2300 Family processor and Pentium
processor with up to eight cores. Built with the Intel PCH C256 chipset, the X12STD-F
supports 128GB DDR4 ECC and Non-ECC UDIMM memory with speeds of up to 3200MHz,
1Gb dedicated BMC LAN via 2 ports with the BPN, and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
header onboard. This motherboard also features superior IO expandability, which includes
two M.2 slot, two PCIe 4.0 x8 slots, and two NVME/SATA/SAS (PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 3.0
x2) through a BPN. Please note that this motherboard is intended to be installed and serviced
