- Check that documents are not reversed.
- Check that they are set in the ADF tray securely.
Cause
Carry out maintenance 55.
Reconnect the first side or second side CIS flat
cable.
Replace the first side or second side CIS flat
cable.
Replace the first side or second side CIS unit.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
User Check
- Clean document cover glass or ADF glass.
- Clean the document pressure bar.
Cause
Remove foreign materials.
Replace the first side or second side CIS unit.
