ward-facing and forward-facing child restraint sys-

passenger airbag must always be disabled.

BAG OFF indicator lamp is lit continuously

If the PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF indicator

lamp is off, the front passenger airbag is ena-
bled. The front passenger airbag may be
deployed during an accident.
▌Securing the child restraint system with the
seat belt on the front passenger seat
When fitting a belt-secured child restraint system
on the front passenger seat, always observe the
following:
O Observe the notes on rearward-facing and
forward-facing child restraint systems on the
front passenger seat (
O Observe the child restraint system manufac-
turer's installation and operating instructions.
O For a child restraint system in the "Universal"
or "Semi-Universal" category, make sure that
