lid do not close securely, stop using the
key and keep it away from children.
If batteries are swallowed or otherwise

enter the body, seek immediate medical
attention.

Batteries contain toxic and corrosive

Take discharged batteries to a
qualified specialist workshop or to a col-
lection point for used batteries.

Mercedes-Benz recommends that you have the
battery replaced at a qualified specialist work-
shop.
Push a pointed object into recess 1.

Slide battery cover 2 backwards in the direc-

tion of the arrow and remove the empty bat-
tery.
Insert new battery 3 with the lettering facing
#
upwards.
Slide battery cover 2 in the opposite direc-
#
tion to the arrow onto the remote control until
the battery cover engages.

The starter battery is not sufficiently charged.

The fuel tank content is below the reserve fuel
