352 Maintenance and care

rect oil filter, incorrect oil or additives

Depending on driving style, the vehicle con-
sumes up to 0.8 litres of oil per 1000 km. The
oil consumption may also be higher than this
when the vehicle is new or if you frequently
drive at high engine speeds.
8-cylinder engine
6-cylinder engine
Turn cap 1 anti-clockwise and remove it.

Top up the engine oil.

Replace cap 1 and turn it clockwise until it

engages.
