Text edit

When you edit text entered in the contacts or messages, you can use the copy, cut, paste and clear functions
in the text mode as shown below:
To Change to Insert/Overwrite Mode
To change to insert/overwrite mode, press the SK2 (Submenu) key in the text mode, then select Insert or
Overwrite.
In the Insert Mode, you can insert characters at the cursor position.
In the Overwrite Mode, you can overwrite characters starting at the cursor position.
To Copy and Paste the Text
To copy and paste text, proceed as described below:

Paste the block

Do this
Press the SK2 (Submenu) key in the text mode, then select
Copy.
Move the cursor to the starting point of the block to copy by
using the Up, Down, Left, or Right key and press the Enter
key.
Note : You can cancel the specified copy starting point by
pressing the CLR key.
Move the cursor to the ending point of the block to copy by
using the Up, Down, Left, or Right key and press the Enter
key.
Note : A maximum of 512 characters can be copied.
Move the cursor to the paste point by using the Up, Down,
Left, or Right key.
Press the SK2 (Submenu) key in the text mode, then select
Paste.
Note : If the copied text exceeds the maximum number of
characters allowed in the field, the remaining characters
will be discarded.
