Useful Tips:
• To quit the transfer, press the SK2(Quit) key on data transfer screen.

To/From PC

By connecting the e808 and a PC with an USB cable, data can be copied between the e808 and the PC.
Between e808 and the PC, the following data can be transferred: contact list data (VCF), calendars (VCS),
ringtunes (MID), video clips (MP4), audio files (AAC/WMA), image files (JPG, GIF, BMP), voice data (AMR),
and other types of file received attached to emails.
The transferred files from the PC can be used, played, or attached to messages or emails in e808.
There are files that can be saved in handset memory play lists and attached to emails, but cannot be
executed (displayed, played, etc.) by e808. They are the following file types: image files (PNG, WBMP), audio
files (MP3), and video clips (WMV, MP4, ENC).
The other types of files, such as text files (TXT) and files with suffix not mentioned above are indicated by a
question mark icon. They can be saved in the Other File Type list in Multimedia menu, and attached to an
email as "file."
For details on the data types and size, refer to the relevant manuals on PC data transfer application. This
operation can only be controlled from the data transfer software installed in a PC.
An image file must be 352 x 288 pixels or smaller in size to be displayed on Viewer.
Basic Operations
The basic operation for transferring data between the e808 and the PC is shown below:

2 Start data transfer
3 Display To/From PC
4 Copy data between
the e808 and the PC
Data Transfer
→ select "Data Transfer" icon
Do this
Insert an USB cable to the power connector of the e808 and a
USB port of the PC.
Press the MENU key and select Data Transfer.
Select To/From PC. To/From PC is displayed.
Use data transfer software installed in the PC, to copy data
between the e808 and the PC.
