Set Backlight

"Enter" key in standby mode
You can choose phone backlight setting or Java backlight setting. If you choose the phone backlight setting,
the backlight setting made by using the Settings icon from the Task Menu applies. If you choose the Java
backlight setting, the backlight setting depends on the Java Application program, and the setting made by
using the Settings icon is ignored.
To Switch between Phone Backlight Setting and Java Backlight Setting
1 To choose the phone backlight setting, select Phone and press the SK1 (Select) key or Enter key. To
choose the Java backlight setting, select Java and press the SK1 (Select) key or Enter key.
Set Downl. Display
press and hold "Enter" key in standby mode
You can choose to display or not to display application information during download of a Java™ application
program.
To Turn On/Off the Application Information Display Function
1 Select On or Off and press the SK1 (Select) key or Enter key.
Current Settings
and hold "Enter" key in standby mode
You can check the backlight setting and application information display setting on the Current Settings
screen.
Reset Settings
(press "MENU" key
hold "Enter" key in standby mode
You can reset the settings to the default settings.
