To Transfer Text Messages between the Phone and the USIM
Protected Text messages cannot be moved.
The USIM card can hold maximum of 20 Text message data (data size: 176 byte max.)
To
1 Start data transfer
2 Display To/From USIM
3 Select the data type
4 Select the operation
5 Select the direction
6 Select the mailbox
7 Select the Text messages to move
or copy from the search result
8 Start moving/copying
Do this
Press the MENU key and select Data Transfer.
Select To/From USIM.
Select Text Message.
Select the operation from Move (data is cut and pasted to the
other) and Copy (data is copied).
Select the direction from Phone to USIM or USIM to Phone.
Select the mailbox from Inbox or Sent items.
To move:
Select the title.
To copy:
To select one or more entries: Select the title and press the
SK1 (Select) key. Multiple titles can be selected. To cancel the
selection, select the title and press the SK1 (Cancel) key.
To select all entries: Press the SK2 (Submenu) key and select
Select All. To cancel the selection, press the SK2 (Submenu)
key and select Delete All.
To move:
Press the SK1 (Move) key.
The selected Text message is moved to the USIM card or the
e808 memory.
To copy:
Press the SK2 (Submenu) key and select Start Copy. The
selected Text messages are copied to the USIM card or the
e808 memory.
