Driving your vehicle
Press the Driving Assist
turn Smart Cruise Control off.
To adjust the sensitivity of Smart
Cruise Control

The sensitivity of vehicle speed when
following the front vehicle to maintain
the set distance can be adjusted. Go to
the "User Settings (LCD display) or Setup
→ Vehicle (Infotainment System screen)
→ Driver Assistance → SCC Reaction →
Fast/Normal/Slow". You may select one
of the three stages you prefer.
Warning Volume

With the ENGINESTART/STOP button in
the ON position, select 'Driver Assistance
→ Warning Volume' from the "User Set-
tings (LCD display) or Setup → Vehicle
button to
(Infotainment System screen)" menu to
change the Warning Volume to 'High',
'Medium', 'Low' for Smart Cruise Control.
If you change the Warning Volume, the
Warning Volume of other Driver Assis-
tance systems may change.
If the engine is restarted, Warning Vol-
ume will maintain the last setting.
Smart Cruise Control operating
Operating conditions
Smart Cruise Control will operate when
the following conditions are satisfied.
Basic function
僅 The gear is in D (Drive)
僅 The driver's door is closed
僅 EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) is not
applied
僅 your driving speed is within the oper-
ating speed range
5~120 mph (10~200 km/h): when
there is no vehicle in front
0~120 mph (0~200 km/h): when
there is a vehicle in front
僅 ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS
(Traction Control System) or ABS is on
僅 ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS
(Traction Control System) or ABS is
not controlling the vehicle
僅 Engine rpm is not in the red zone
僅 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
brake control is not operating
僅 ISG system is not operating
