7. Place the phone in the plate, with the PCB side
up and the Rear-Facing Imager toward the top of
the plate.
8. Wait 3 minutes for the PCB Adhesive to warm
up.
9. Remove the phone from the plate.
// CAUTION //
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
10. Complete the following steps to separate the
upper portion of the PCB from the Housing:
a. Insert the flat end of the Blackstick under
the upper left corner of the PCB.
b. Insert the Thin Plastic Spudger under the
upper left corner of the PCB.
c. Slide the Spudger under the entire left edge
of the PCB.
// CAUTION //
Use caution when removing the PCB. Do not tear
or damage the Front-Facing Imager Flex.
d. Remove the Blackstick.
e. Insert the Thin Plastic Spudger under the
lower left corner of the PCB and slide it
toward the SIM/SD Tray.
