4. Remove the L-Shaped Bracket from the
Housing.
5. Use the Plastic Tweezers to disconnect the
Battery Flex BtB Connector.
6. Starting from the upper right corner, slowly peel
the 2-Sided Heatspreader away from the Battery.
// CAUTION //
Use caution when removing the 2-Sided
Heatspreader. Do not tear the 2-Sided
Heatspreader, which is also assembled to the
bottom of the PCB. If the 2-Sided Heatspreader is
damaged, you must remove the PCB and
assemble a new 2-Sided Heatspreader. See PCB
Preparation on page 76.
7. Peel the Battery Tab from the PCB.
8. Pull the Battery Tab toward the top of the phone,
keeping level with the surface. The adhesive
releases behind the Battery.
