Installer manual

GENERAL
NIBE EL is a series of water heaters in three sizes that are
suitable for installation in, for example, large houses and
multiple-occupancy properties.
DESIGN
The hot water heater's tank is made of stainless steel, grade
EN1.4521. The tank's rated pressure is 10 bar. The cut-off
pressure is 9 bar.
The flanged, stainless steel immersion heater, grade
EN1.4547, in a Ø 80 mm connection opening, allows for
simple dismantling, internal inspection and cleaning of the
tank.
The water tank is insulated with freon-free polyurethane
foam without joints, which provides good thermal insulation.
TRANSPORT
NIBE EL should be transported and stored in the dry.
ASSEMBLY
The water heater's installation area should always have a
temperature of at least 10 °C (frost-free).
Position NIBE EL on a firm base that can take the weight,
preferably on a concrete floor or foundation. Use the floor
stand's adjustable feet to obtain a horizontal and stable set-
up.
The area where NIBE EL is located must be equipped with
floor drainage.
