[SHUTTER SETTING]

The operation of the shutter function is set.
Setting [MECHANICAL SHUTTER]
1)
Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].
2)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.

Press as to select [MECHANICAL SHUTTER].

Press qw to switch the item.

Note
f By closing the mechanical shutter, the malfunction of the DLP chip caused by high power laser ray entering the projection lens surface can
be prevented. To close the mechanical shutter, set [MECHANICAL SHUTTER] to [ENABLE] and then set the shutter function to be enabled
(shutter: closed).
f When [MECHANICAL SHUTTER] is set to [ENABLE], it will take approximately 0.5 seconds from when the shutter function is enabled
(shutter: closed) to the shutter function is disabled (shutter: opened).
f Even if [MECHANICAL SHUTTER] is set to [DISABLE], the projector will go into the standby status with the mechanical shutter closed when
[SHUT-OFF] is set to [CLOSE] and the power is turned off.
f The light source may turn on darker to warm up when the shutter function is used when the operating environment temperature is around
0 °C (32 °F) when [MECHANICAL SHUTTER] is set to [DISABLE].
Setting [FADE-IN] or [FADE-OUT]
Set the image fade-in and fade-out when the shutter function operates.

Chapter 4 Settings — [DISPLAY OPTION] menu
Corrects the brightness unevenness and color unevenness using the correction value in the projector.
The shape of the projected image and the compensation area of uniformity are not linked.
Select this item to correct the brightness unevenness and the color unevenness of the light irradiated
from the projection lens.
Does not perform correction using the correction value in the projector. Select this item to prioritize
the brightness of the whole projected image.
Corrects the brightness unevenness and color unevenness using the correction value in the
projector. When the geometric adjustment is performed, the shape of the projected image and the
compensation area of uniformity are linked.
Select this item when projecting at an angle against the flat screen, or when projecting on a curved
screen.
Corrects only the color unevenness. Select this item to prioritize the brightness of the whole projected
image.
Corrects the brightness unevenness and the color unevenness.
Closes the mechanical shutter when the shutter function is enabled (shutter: closed).
Leaves the mechanical shutter opened and turns off the light source when the shutter function is
enabled (shutter: closed).
