7.3.3.

Setting the Device Variables

Check the configuration of the I/O Modules on the EtherCAT Fieldbus Coupler, and set the

device variables to use for the slave unit.

Select Offline from the

Controller Menu.

The yellow bar under the toolbar

disappears.

Select the device with node

address 1 added to the

EtherCAT Tab Page in the

previous procedure 7.3.2.

Check that the device name is

E001.

*The device name can be

changed as desired.

Click Edit Module

Configuration.

The Node1: UR20-FBC-EC

(E001) Tab Page is displayed.

Select each configured module

in order and check that the

device names are set as follows:

・UR20-8DI-N-3W:

・UR20-4DO-PN-2A:

・UR20-16DI-P:

・UR20-4DI-P-TS:

・UR20-16DO-P:

*The device name can be

changed as desired.

*The device name you set is

used at the beginning of a

device variable name.
