11, restart Sysmac Studio and
display the ESI Library Dialog
Box.
Click the + Button of
Weidmueller_UR20_FBC to
check that UR20-FBC-EC
Rev:0x00000001 is displayed.
Check that an exclamation mark *EtherCAT Fieldbus Coupler with "Rev:0x00000001" is
(warning) is not displayed. used in this guide.
Click Close.
Precautions for Correct Use
If an exclamation mark (warning) is displayed for the ESI file, check the name of the ESI file
and obtain the ESI file with a correct name. If an exclamation mark (warning) is displayed
even when the name of the ESI file is correct, the file may be corrupted.
In that case, contact the device manufacturer.
Precautions for Correct Use
The result of installing the ESI file for I/O Modules cannot be confirmed in this procedure
7.3.1.; however, as a comparison result of step 9 in 7.3.2. Setting up the EtherCAT Network
Configuration, if "Comparison Failed" is displayed in the Lower Configuration Column
(lower-level network configuration), the ESI file for I/O Modules may not have been properly
installed. In that case, check and go through this procedure 7.3.1. again to properly install the
ESI file for I/O Modules. If "Comparison failed" is still displayed even after properly installing
the ESI file, the file may be corrupted. In that case, contact the device manufacturer.
