7.2. Weidmüller u-remote Setup
Set up the Weidmüller u-remote.
7.2.1. Hardware Settings
Assemble and mount the I/O Modules to the EtherCAT Fieldbus Coupler, and connect the
cables.
Precautions for Correct Use
Make sure that the power supplies are OFF when you set up.
If either of them is ON, the settings described in the following steps and subsequent
procedures may not be applicable.

Make sure that Power supply for
the system and input modules
and Power supply for output
modules are OFF.

Assemble and mount I/O
Modules to EtherCAT Fieldbus
Coupler, as shown in the figure
on the right.
Check the position of
connectors on EtherCAT
Fieldbus Coupler by referring to
the figure on the right.

Connect an Ethernet cable to
EtherCAT IN X1 connector.

Connect Power supply for the
system and input modules and
Power supply for output
modules to Power supply
connector for the system and
input modules and Power supply
connector for output modules,
respectively.
