The following means of transport are required for transporting the system:
Forklift,
Pallet truck,
Transport rope for securing the cabinet,
Anti-slip mats.
The location of media connections ought to be observed before installation to
ensure easy connection of the SL1200A to the building services.
The connections are located on the rear side of the system.
Preparatory measures:
define the exact place of installation and mark it,
define the transportation route and remove potential obstacles,
keep away unauthorized persons from the transportation route. Cordon off
the respective areas.
The following steps ought to be respected when transporting the system:
1 Set the fork of the lifter to the forklift pocket width or the width between
the roller, if available. If delivered ex works, the package shall be tagged
with the relevant marks.
2 Do carefully enter the forklift pocket with the fork lifter.
3 Secure control cabinets with transportation belts.
4 Do carefully raise the system only slightly and balance the center of
gravity! (If delivered ex works, the center of gravity balance shall be
marked on the package.)
5 Transport the system to the place of installation as closely to the floor as
possible. Take care of ground unevenness.
6 Settle the system to the place of installation slightly and carefully.
The system cabinet is equipped with rollers in order to be easily movable.
Do not use tools with sharp-edges to open the packing.
The system can be damaged if the packaging is opened improperly. The
protective film must be removed to unpack the system.
