5-18. Control Panel (Figure 5-14)
a. Removal
1. Remove power cord (1).
2. Open front cover (2).
3. Remove four nuts (3) and washers (4).
4. Separate cover (5) from control panel (6).
5. Remove four nuts (7) and washers (8).
6. Separate control panel (6) from cover (2).
7. Remove wire clip (9).
8. Loosen two fasteners (10) and open rear door (11).
9. Swing out card cage (12).
10. Remove two screws (13).
11. Separate connector LBP1 (14) from card cage (12).
12. Lift control panel (6) and attached cable from printer (15).
b. Installation
1. Place control panel (6) and attached cable into printer (15).
2. Route cable with connector LBP1 (14) to card cage (12).
3. Install two screws (13).
4. Close card cage (12).
5. Close rear door (11). Engage and tighten two fasteners (10).
6. Install wire clip (9).
7. Position control panel (6) on cover (2).
8. Install four nuts (7) and washers (8).
9. Place cover (5) on control panel (6).
10. Install four nuts (3) and washers (4).
11. Close front cover (2).
12. Attach power cord (1).
