  • Page 9 PREFACE ® Thank you for purchasing the ADSP-BF561 EZ-KIT Lite , Analog ® Devices, Inc. evaluation system for Blackfin processors. The Blackfin processors are embedded processors that support a Media Instruction Set Computing (MISC) architecture. This architecture is the natural merging of RISC, media functions, and digital signal processing (DSP) characteristics towards delivering signal processing performance in a microprocessor-like environment.
