5 .4 .3 A single UPS from a parallel machine system:

First, Make sure the bypass is normal and
OFF/ESC button
the automatic bypass is set to "Enable".
Press the button "OFF/ESC" turn off the UPS
(Figure 5.4.3-1).

Switch off the AC input breaker and output
circuit and battery module output circuit of
associated UPS.

Remove the associated UPS and disconnect the
cable/wire.

Connect the backup UPS wires to parallel
system according to 5.4.2.

Switch on the backup UPS power breaker and
input breaker to ensure that the UPS is in
bypass mode.
6.
Switch on the output circuit breaker and main
output circuit breaker.
7.
Switch the main maintenance switch or static
switch from "BPS" to "UPS", press the button to
turn on the UPS and the UPS will be turned on in
online mode.

BEFORE PARALLEL OPERATION, PLEASE
MAKE SURE ALL THE CONNECTIONS ARE
CORRECTLY.
THE MAXIMUM PARALLEL QUANTITY IS 4.
BE SURE THE LOAD IS LESS THAN THE
MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF WHOLE UPS
SYSTEM. OTHERWISE, THE UPS WILL
OVERLOAD FAULT.
PARALLEL OPERATION IS CONSISTENT
WITH STAND-ALONE OPERATION.

5 .4 .4 Re-enter the unit into the parallel system

1.
Remove the cover of MBS switch on one UPS
which stays in the parallel system, then switch
the MBS from "UPS" to "BYPASS", confirm all
the units are working in bypass mode.
2.
Install the UPS according to 4.4.1.
3.
Set the maintenance switches from "BPS" to
"UPS" and put the maintenance bypass covers
back.
