8.0 TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOM
A) Temperature
shown in display
higher than preset
value.
B) Excessive air
pressure drop across
dryer.
C) Water present in air
downstream of dryer.
IMPORTANT:
The temperature control probe is extremely delicate. Do not remove the probe from its position. In case of any
kind of problem, please contact your "Service Centre"

9.0 DRYER'S DISPOSAL

The equipment's disposal must be carried out according to the National Norms. These dryers contain cooling media HFC type and
lubrication oils that cannot be dispersed into the atmosphere.
Before scrapping the dryer, it's necessary to recover all the gas contained using specific gas cylinders and send them for recycle.
This operation must be done by qualified Personnel, who has all the proper equipment (consult our Service Centre for additional
information about recovery procedure). The recovered fluid must be disposed in accordance to the National Sanitary Norms.

10.0 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

In case of Freon gas leak, it's important to keep in mind the following phrases to diminish risks/damages to goods and people.
FREON
R134a
High concentration can cause lose of consciousness and lose of mobility. It
can lead to asphyxia.
Low concentration can cause narcotic effects.
R407C
Contact with skin and eyes can cause chemical burns.
R507
Swallowing is an improbable cause of risk.

POSSIBLE ORIGIN
High compressed air inlet temperature.
High compressed air flow.
High room temperature.
Fouler refrigerant condenser.
Low refrigerant charge.
Faulty refrigerant compressor.
Faulty fan.
Faulty fan pressure switch or thermostat.
Faulty electronic controller
Inlet / outlet piping reversed.
Temperature probe out of well.
Faulty refrigerant valve.
Ambient temperature below freezing.
Obstruction in air circuit.
Air by–pass valve close.
Condensate drain strainer fouled.
Faulty condensate drainer.
Faulty electronic controller.
High dew–point temperature.
Air by–pass valve open.

SOLUTION
Reduce air temperature to within design limits.
Reduce air flow to within design limits.
Increase ventilation rate of installation area.
Clean condenser.
Locate and repair leak and re-charge.

Install dryer in heated space.
Locate and remove blockage.

Move the victim to an uncontaminated zone, keep
him/her warm and call the doctor.
Rinse immediately the eyes with water for 15
minutes.
In case of low temperature Freon gas spray burn
sprinkle water for 15 minutes.
