Summary of Intermec Diagnostic Tests
Test Name
Description
1. Backlight
Verifies that the backlight is

working properly by turning it
off, on, and testing each dim
level.
2. Battery
Displays the charge levels for the

battery. Also indicates if AC
power is detected.
3. Display
Verifies that every pixel on the

CN2A screen is working properly.
4. Hardware
Reads, verifies, and displays
Configuration
information about the hardware
configuration. Also displays the
version of the operating system
(OS) running on your CN2A.
5. Memory
Displays information about the

RAM, which is divided into
program memory and storage
memory.
6. Networking
Displays your IP address and

MAC address, and validates your
network connection.
7. Audio Test
Verifies that the audio sounds are
working correctly.
8. Touch Screen
Verifies that the touch screen is

working correctly.
9. LED Test
Verifies that the LED is working
correctly.
10. Keypad
Verifies that each key is working

Tips
When you start the Backlight Power
Control test, the backlight turns off.
Tap near the top of the screen to turn the
backlight on again so you can indicate if
the test passed or failed.
Tap X to exit the test.
When each test action begins, a message
explains what you should see on this test
display.
Press Enter or tap X to dismiss each
message. Press Enter or tap the screen you
finish examining each test display.
You may be asked to provide this
information if you contact Intermec
Product Support.
