What Happens When You Do Not Format the RAM Disk?
The files on the RAM disk are saved, but the data may have
been corrupted when the application locked up.
When the CK1 finishes booting, your main application is
launched automatically. If the application was written to do so,
it will see the data on the RAM disk and the application will use
that data.
However, most applications only use the RAM disk for
temporary data. If that is the case, the application will do
nothing with the RAM disk when it restarts because the
application will just create new temporary data as needed.

If this is the first time you are using the

The battery may be discharged. Replace
the battery with a spare charged battery, or
charge the battery and try again. For help,
see "Charging the Battery" on page 5.
The battery charge is very low. You have a few
minutes of power left. Replace the battery
with a spare charged battery, or charge the
battery.
POST has failed. Connect the CK1 to a PC
to receive the boot data. Report the boot data
to an Intermec service representative.
