When configuring Windows Dial Settings for a null modem
connection, you need to perform these tasks, which are
described in the following sections:
• Create a null modem connection
• Configure the dial-up or dial-in connection

Creating the Null Modem Connection

Follow these steps to create the null modem connection.
To create a null modem connection
1 Connect the serial dock (P/N 073665) to the PC using a null
modem cable, and place the CK1 in the dock. For help, see
the quick start guide that shipped with the dock.
2 On your PC, select Start > Settings > Control Panel, and
double-click Phone and Modem Options. The Phone and
Modem Options dialog box appears.
3 Click the Modems tab.
