6 Press
from 0 to 6000 that you want the PPP server on the CK1 to
run before restarting.
7 If Server is enabled, press
clear the Lock area of the status bar, and enter the IP address
for the CK1 in the format n.n.n.n where n is a number from
0 to 255.
If necessary, press
character you want to keep and press Delete to clear the
characters you do not want.
8 If Server is enabled, press
clear the Lock area of the status bar, and enter the IP address
for the PC that the CK1 is communicating with in the format
n.n.n.n where n is a number from 0 to 255.
If necessary, press
character you want to keep and press Delete to clear the
characters you do not want.
9 Press Enter to accept your changes and return to the System
Setting screen.
10 Exit the System Setting screen. For help, see "Exiting and
Logging Out" on page 44.
You can now create a modem or null modem connection with
your PC. For help, see the following sections.
Configuring the Windows Dial Settings for a Modem
Connection
When configuring Windows Dial Settings for a modem
connection, you need to perform one of these tasks:
• Create the dial-up connection to a CK1, where the PC
initiates communication with the CK1. For help, see the next
section, "Creating a Dial-Up Connection."
Or
• Create the dial-in connection from a CK1, where the CK1
initiates communication with the PC. For help, see "Creating
a Dial-In Connection" on page 73.
