These instructions for use provide important information regarding the installation and proper use
of the 476C00=SK82*/83* Terra Flair Plus wheelchair seat cushion (custom size:
476C00=SA880).
All users and/or their attendants must be trained by qualified personnel in the use of the product
with the aid of these instructions for use. In particular, users and/or attendants must be informed
of the residual risks with the aid of the safety notices.

It may be necessary to adapt the product according to the needs of the user and the medical
conditions. Adjustments may only be made by qualified personnel and in close coordination
with the user.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical changes to the model described in
these instructions for use.

2 Product description

The wheelchair seat cushion is used as a decubitus prophylaxis. It provides optimal pressure
redistribution and reduces shear forces.
The seating surface consists of an anatomically shaped rest suspension foam base (see fig. 1,
item 1) with an integrated air insert in the rear section (see fig. 1, item 2). The foam base distrib­
utes pressure over the largest possible surface area, thereby reducing pressure points. The seat
cushion provides postural stability due to the anatomically shaped recesses for positioning the
thighs and the ischium bone (see fig. 1, items 3, 2). The air insert can be individually adapted by
means of air pressure. This provides ideal protection for the most sensitive bony areas.
The foam base and air insert form the core of the seat cushion (see fig. 1) and are protected by a
liquid-repellent cover (see fig. 2). The cover contains three elastic pockets in the area of the
thighs. Each pocket contains a foam wedge to provide additional support for leg positioning (see
fig. 6).
