1 Description
1.1 Indications for use
The Ottobock PushValves und MagValves are intended exclusively for the
prosthetic fitting of lower limb amputees.
1.2 Field of application
1.2.1 PushValve
The PushValve is suitable for amputees with the following requirements:
• Easy handling (threadless).
• Extended lever arms facilitating valve opening in case of restricted finger
functionality.
• The valve opening is large enough to allow easy removal of donning assists.
• Easier position control of the residual limb.
• Audible feedback when the valve has been positioned correctly.
1.2.2 MagValve
The MagValve is suitable for amputees with the following requirements:
• Easy handling (threadless), especially for patients with restricted finger
functionality.
• Smaller in size and lower structural height than the PushValve.
• Easier position control of the residual limb.
