Remove all dummies except for the E-MAG knee joint dummy and set up the lamination joint bars (see fig. 12). The
drilled holes in the system box of the knee joint are used to temporarily fasten the lamination joint bars with a screw
during alignment of the orthosis until trial fitting. Only use the M5 x 10 screws included in the scope of delivery.
The magnetic control on the upper section of the orthosis is equipped with threaded blind holes to attach the lamin­
ation anchors. Using screws that are too long may damage the control unit.
Reinforce the orthosis according to the requirements of the patient profile (see fig. 13).

3.2 Casing
This section describes how to fabricate a casing for the protection and retention of cables and electronic compon­
ents.
First cut the knee joint dummy free (see fig. 14).

Incorrect installation can cause malfunctions and / or damage to the knee joint. Please observe the following
safety instructions:
► Follow the instructions for use provided for the charger and batteries.
► Use the supplied dummies. Do not process joint or electronic components directly.
► Follow the installation instructions and the sequence of the individual steps (see Page 9).
► Only use the M5 x 10 screws included in the scope of delivery.
Carefully mill a cable groove in the joint guide (see fig. 15 / see fig. 16) and then reinsert the dummy for the knee
joint.
