Problem
Size of floc is inadequate
Filter is full after only a few
splitting processes
No pressure at high-
pressure cleaner
Water escapes from one
of the overflows (B, F, H)

switch off after draining the
reaction tank

Possible cause
Metered quantity of cleavage
powder or liquid cleavage
agent too low
Settling period after agitation
is too short
Agitation is not carried out
entirely correctly
Bypass pump (18)
underneath reaction tank is
not working
Hose connecting reaction
tank to cascade filter is not
inserted into hole provided
in filter
Floc is too small and is
clogging up filter fleece
Water deficiency, air is taken
in or high-pressure
appliance is connected
wrongly
Overflow hoses are not
connected
Stirrer shaft soiled or contact
problem
Remedy
Increase metered quantities
Extend rest period
Determine cause and rectify accordingly
Check supply voltage and replace pump,
if necessary
Rectify as necessary
Optimize flocculation process (splitting agent
metering and settling period)
Determine cause and rectify accordingly
Connect overflows
Clean or replace
