Change of G dimension

If it is necessary to change the "G" dimension, the
position of the coupling discs (E) should be amended.
To do this, simply remove or add the spacer rings ( I ),
as shown in Figure 4.14.

NOTE
To meet the necessary combination of disc and
flange, the flange (A) can also be changed.
The fixation of the coupling discs must be performed
according to tightening torques shown in Table 4.11.

NOTES
The values of the tighten torques shown in
Table 4.11 are nominal for final tightening
with a torque wrench.
To pre-tightening (screw gun or impact
wrench) must be used maximum 70% of the
nominal value.
During the maintenance or replacement of
the coupling discs, the screws must be
replaced with new ones, according to Table
4.11.
Shall not be used full thread screws for this
application.
NOTE
The user is responsible for installing the
alternator.
WEG is not responsible for damage to the
alternator, associated equipment and
installation, which occurred due to:
Excessive vibrations transmitted;
Poor facilities;
Failures in alignment;
Inappropriate storage conditions;
Failure in following instructions before start-
up;
Incorrect electrical installation.
