4.8.1.1.1 Cables connection

Para obtenção de um contato elétrico eficaz, a conexão
dos cabos de ligação nos pinos da placa de bornes deve
atender a seguinte configuração:
To obtain an effective electrical contact, the connection of
the cables to the terminal block pin must comply with the
following configuration:

ATTENTION
This setting is valid to connecting the cables
directly to the terminal block pins
The brass washers and nuts should not be
replaced with other with different material as
they may impair the connection of the cables.

4.8.1.2 Grounding

The alternator must always be grounded with a cable with
suitable section, according to IEC60034-1, using screwed
hole located in the rear part of the feet, according to
Figure 4.8.

4.8.1.3 Electronic voltage regulator

The electronic regulator is factory set and electrically
connected to the values of rated voltage and frequency of
the alternator.
To change the settings or connections, consult the
manual of the voltage regulator.
ATTENTION
When there is change in the main terminal
connections from the alternator to voltage
change, changing cable connections of the
sensing voltage of the regulator must also be
made according to the particular diagram.
To change the operating frequency of the
voltage regulator, refer to its manual.
