Symptoms
The box to the left of the COM port is red.
All of the lights are green, but no data are
transferred even though the ,
says, "All data downloaded"
No data downloaded

Possible Causes and Comments
This means that the COM port is not available.
Another instrument or program could be
occupying the port, making it unavailable. Make
sure to close all programs of this type before
downloading data.
The port selected is incorrect. Click on the box to
the right of the COM port icon to select the
appropriate COM port.
The connection between the instrument and the
computer is bad. Check and tighten the cable
connections. Make sure both ends of the cable
are plugged in tightly.
IDL not activated. Refer to Section 4 for
instructions.
