To fully benefit from the convenience and power of Neopost Online
Services, your IJ-40/50/60 mailing system should be connected to
a live analog telephone line so that it can link to the Neopost Online
Server automatically.
At a pre-set time (usually between midnight and 5:00 AM), your IJ-
40/50/60 mailing system will initiate a call to the Neopost Online
Server. For the Usage Reports service, the IJ-40/50/60 mailing
system automatically connects at the end of each month to upload
department and postal category statistics. For the eConfirmation
service, your IJ-40/50/60 mailing system automatically connects
at night if you have processed transactions that day. For the Ink
Management service, the IJ-40/50/60 mailing system automatically
connects when it's time to re-order ink supplies.
First, the mailing system initializes the modem.
Then the mailing system connects to the Neopost Online Server.
When the connection is established, the mailing system performs
the data transfer. At the conclusion of the session, a message
displays, indicating the successful connection and data transfer.
