3. Choose the pulley spindle that allows you to move the elastic belt to a
smaller pulley.
4. Rotate the chosen pulley spindle by hand.
5. Place a finger on the belt section that is moving towards the pulley and
pull upwards or push downwards until the belt derails. Move the belt to
the chosen pulley.
6. Once the belt is set on the correct pulley, switch to the other pulley
spindle.
7. Move one side of the belt to the correct pulley that is parallel to the other
spindle.
8. Pin the belt against the pulley with one finger on the side moving into the
pulley. Rotate the spindle until the belt slips into the pulley.
9. Rotate a couple of more turns to make sure the belt is properly seated on
both pulley spindles.
10. Close the drive belt cover. Readjust tension if the belt slips while drilling.

OPERATION

INSTALLING A DRILL BIT

1. Insert the drill bit into the jaws of the chuck approximately 1 in., ensuring
that the jaws do not touch the flutes of the drill bit.
2. Before tightening the chuck, ensure that the drill bit is centered within
the jaws.
3. Tighten the chuck securely with the included chuck key.

ON/OFF BUTTON

1. Hold the drill press so the drill bit is not touching anything.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to start the drill bit. The drill bit will immediately
begin rotating.
3. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the tool off.
