    PERSONAL SAFETY CAUTION! Wear protective equipment approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) when using the rotary tool. Dress properly, wear protective equipment. Use breathing, ear, eye, face, foot, hand, and head protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles, which must provide both frontal and side protection.

    Never force the tool. Excessive pressure could bend or break the mandrel, resulting in damage to the tool, your work piece or serious personal injury. If your rotary tool runs smoothly under no load, but does not run smoothly under load, then excessive pressure is being used.

    8352965 ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION SPEED SELECTION Set the rotary tool speed by rotating the variable speed control dial (1) to the appropriate speed (see figure 1). Position the speed control dial at “1” for the slowest speed, “3” for medium speed and “MAX” for the highest speed.

    BEFORE USE Verify the following every time the rotary tool is used: Safety glasses, safety goggles, or face shield are being worn. The accessory is in good condition and not damaged in any way.

    8352965 Rotary Tool V 3.02 MAINTENANCE Before making any adjustments or changing accessories, turn off the tool and disconnect it from its power source. The brushes should be checked periodically and worn-out brushes should be replaced. After replacing, inspect whether the new brushes can move freely in the brush holder. Run the motor for 15 minutes without load to shape the brushes, so that they are properly aligned with the commutator.

    Rotary Tool 8352965 LUBRICATION All of the bearings in this rotary tool are lubricated with a sufficient amount of high-grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal conditions. Therefore, no further lubrication is required. DISPOSING OF THE TOOL If your rotary tool has become damaged beyond repair, do not throw it out.

Les balais doivent être vérifiés périodiquement et ceux qui sont usés doivent être remplacés.
