Unpacking

Open the shipping box and verify that the following items are present:
• DT9857-08, DT9857-16, DT9857E-08, or DT9857E-16 module or the OEM version of the
module
• EP361 +5 V power supply (not supplied with the OEM version of the module)
• USB cable (EP365)
• Data Acquisition OMNI CD-ROM
If an item is missing or damaged, contact Data Translation. If you are in the United States, call
the Customer Service Department at (508) 946-5100. An application engineer will guide you
through the appropriate steps for replacing missing or damaged items. If you are located
outside the United States, call your local distributor, listed on our web site
(www.mccdaq.com).
Note: DT9857 and DT9857E modules are factory-calibrated. If you decide that you want to
recalibrate the analog input or analog output circuitry, refer to the instructions in
Setting Up and Installing the Module
Chapter 8.
