Synchronizing the Analog Input and/or Analog Output Subsystems
of Multiple DT9857E Modules
As shown in
you can use to connect and synchronize the analog input and/or analog output subsystems of
up to four DT9857E modules.

If you want to synchronize the analog input channels of multiple DT9857E modules, you must
connect a cable from the Ain Sync Bus connector (B or D) on one module to the Ain Sync Bus
connector (B or D) on the next module.
If you want to synchronize the analog output channels on multiple modules, you must
connect a cable from the Ain Sync Bus connector (B or D) on one module to the Ain Sync Bus
connector (B or D) on the next module, and then connect a cable from the DA Out Sync Bus
connector (A or C) on one module to the DA Out Sync Bus connector (A or C) on the next
module.
Note: The Ain Sync Bus connectors provide the reference clock that the D/A subsystem
requires for synchronization.
