SECTION 2. ROUTINE OPERATION

1-2. Transmission Procedure at a Glance

1. Make sure that the machine is in
standby mode.
2. Carefully place the document into the
auto document feeder.
Not more than 50 pages.
Selecting Contrast and Resolution: See page 22.
Options for Sending a Message: See page 23.
3. Dial in one of the following ways.
a) Ten Key Pad
If your machine is behind a PBX, dial the access code, then a pause, then the telephone no.
For an international number, press the Pause key after entering the country code.
4.
Start
The machine stores your fax message.
5. The machine dials, and the line to the other party is connected.
Note: Watch the display. The identification of the other party will appear.
6. After sending the message, the machine hangs up automatically.
