9433-EMDE-75/110 Rear I/O Module
CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT - IEC 60825-1:2007. Never look into fiber connector or cable end
of device transmitting an optical signal. The transmitted light is not visible and can cause
permanent eye damage. Do not perform connection/disconnection with sending or receiving
device powered.
Note: Rear module fiber port directions (IN, OUT) are as shown below. When used on -EO or -OE models,
Fiber IN or FIber OUT ports are respectively NC.

Table 2-1 shows and describes the full assortment of Rear I/O Modules
specifically for use with the 9433-EMDE-75/110.
Provides the following connections:
• One 3G/HD/SD-SDI coaxial input BNC (SDI IN)
• One 3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber LC input (FIBER IN)
• Eight AES/EBU balanced audio input/outputs
• Eight AES-3id unbalanced audio input/outputs
• One 3G/HD/SD-SDI coaxial output BNC (SDI OUT)
• One 3G/HD/SD-SDI fiber LC output (FIBER OUT)

Installing a Rear I/O Module
Description
(BAL AES AUD I/O 1 thru AES AUD I/O 8)
(UNBAL AES AUD I/O 1 thru AES AUD I/O 8)
DIN1.0/2.3. Available equipped with
High-Density BNC (HDBNC) or DIN1.0/2.3
connectors as:
RM20-9433EMDE-A-HDBNC or
RM20-9433EMDE-A-DIN, respectively.
In previous manual version 1.2, the
UNBAL AES I/O port numbering was
labelled incorrect. Use the port
numbering shown here.
