Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves.
Step 2 Hold down the tabs on the multi-port connector on a multi-port cable, as shown
in (1) in
Figure 4-21 Connecting a multi-port cable
Step 3 Align the connector with the UCP on the server node panel, and gently push the
connector into the UCP until it cannot move forward, as shown in (2) in
4-21.

Procedure

Step 2 Remove the dust-proof cap from an optical module. See (1) in
Issue 04 (2020-06-05)

cable.
To avoid damage to an optical module, do not exert excessive force to remove
or insert it.
