Installation Description
Guide Rail Installation Requirements
Before installing guide rails, you need to determine the positions of guide rails
based on the configuration scheme.
The middle of two adjacent square holes with small spacing is the boundary of
two Us. See
calculating the device installation space.

Cabinet Installation Requirements
The depth of an X6000 chassis is 805 mm (31.69 in.):

Enough space is available for installing the chassis in the cabinet.

You have determined the positions for installing guide rails and floating
nuts in the cabinet. Floating nuts are installed on the inner sides of the
mounting bars on the cabinet and used to secure a chassis by working
with the captive screws in the panel.

The chassis has been unpacked and placed near the cabinet.
Tools
–
Phillips screwdriver: used to tighten and loosen screws in guide rails and
captive screws in the chassis.
–
Floating nut hook: used to install floating nuts on the mounting bars of
the cabinet.
–
ESD gloves: used to prevent ESD damage when you move a chassis.
