ENGINE OPERATION
Side mount RC type
1. Be sure to install the stop switch lock
to the stop switch, and attach the
stop switch lanyard securely to the
operator or to the operator's PFD
(Personal Flotation Device.)

2. Insert the main switch key.
3. Set the control lever in the Neutral
position. Do not raise the free throt-
tle lever when starting the engine.

Note
The free throttle lever cannot be raised
when the control lever is in Forward or
Reverse.

4. Turn the main switch key to ON posi-
tion.
5. Turn the main switch key to START
position and release the key when the
engine has star ted. Also, confirm
warning lamp light up with beep
sound and then lights out. The key
returns to the original position, auto-
matically.
