position and release the key when
engine has started. Also, confirm
warning lamp light up with beep
sound and then lights out. The key
returns to the original position auto-
matically.

CAUTION
Do not hold turning starter motor more than
5 seconds, or the battery may be consumed,
potenti ally making the engine star ting
impossible and/or damaging the starter.
If cranking over 5 seconds fails to star t
engine, return main switch to "ON", and
crank engine again after 10 seconds or more.
7. Make sure that water is being dis-
charged from the cooling water check
port.
