If problem persists, turn off power at utility disconnect and lock/tag disconnect. Check crimps at
lugs of all power cables by pulling firmly on cables. If any crimped connections fail, replace and
re-crimp lugs.

Testing Main Rectifier

The main rectifier is a simple, robust component and is not likely to require service. Test for
other possible problems before testing the main rectifier. Testing the main rectifier will require
that the lower back panel of the unit be detached and moved up and out of the way per section
3.4.1. However, the panel will not need to be fully removed, so field service personnel will not
need to detach cables running from PowerStation cabinet to Power Supply cabinet.
Should the main rectifier need to be serviced, turn off power to the DVS at the utility disconnect.
Lock and tag disconnect. Examine rectifier D1 for visible signs of damage. Be sure to look
carefully between rectifier fins. Locate AC input cables between main transformer and rectifier
D1 per Figure 7, below. There are six of these cables going to D1.
