REPLACEMENT OF FILTER UNIT
Filter Time Reset Procedure:
Be sure to reset Filter time to "0" after replacing the Filter.
1. Clean the Filter Unit.
2. Select FILTER TIME in Service Mode.
3. Press the VOLUME UP/DOWN key on the remote to reset
(change to "0").
Note:
1. The Filter should be cleaned about every 400 hours.
2. If Air Filter operation time exceeds 400 hours, the
display as shown in Fig. 6-1 appears for 5 minutes.
AIR FILTER CLEANING
IS RECOMMANDED AT THIS
TIME. FIRST TURN THE
UNIT OFF. REMOVE THE
RIGHT SPEAKER COVER
AND FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
WILL MAXIMIZE PRODUCT
RELIABILITY.
The display as shown in Fig. 6-2 appears when turning
on the power again after cleaning the Filter Unit in
power off condition.
Filter time is reset by selecting "YES" as shown below.

Clogged Air Filter Detection
When a dirty or clogged air filter is detected, the OSD is
displayed for 1 minute. And then the Lamp is turned OFF.
AIR FILTER CLEANING

TIME. FIRST TURN THE
UNIT OFF. REMOVE THE
RIGHT SPEAKER COVER
AND FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
UNIT WILL BE TURNED
OFF AFTER 1 MINUTE.
Note:
At this time, only the POWER button is operational. When the
Power is turned off with the POWER button, the usual confirming
message does not appear.

Filter Replacement Procedure:
Replace the Filter Unit when it remains clogged, dirty or
damage even after cleaning.
1. Remove the Front Cover R Unit from the latches.
Remove the Filter Unit by releasing indented portion of the
Filter Unit.

Warning:
Do not operate this unit without having
the air filter installed. Dirt or dust
particles will be sucked into the LCD
display and costly damage and / or
picture deterioration may occur.
2. Install the new Filter Unit.
