SERVICE CAUTION
THE LAMP COVER SWITCH AND THE FRONT
THERMISTOR CAUTIONS
When servicing, be sure to install the following parts. Otherwise,
the unit power will not turn on.
1. Connect the cable between Connector P2911 on the Front
Thermistor C.B.A. and Connector P2304 on the LCD Main
C.B.A.
Note:
When opening the Base Front Panel Unit as shown:
• Remove the sheet from cable on the Projection Unit to
connect the cable.
• Set the Front Cover L and the Front Cover R Unit (or
similar thickness) under the Base Front Panel Unit so
as not to put excessive pressure to the connectors on
the TV Main C.B.A. as shown.
2. Install the Lamp Cover securely (Lamp Cover Switch is
ON).

COVERING THE FRONT FAN CAUTION
Warning:
The unit MUST NOT be operated without
an Air Filter!!
When servicing, cover the Front Fan with the Filter as follows.
Otherwise, the Projection unit will be damaged by dust, etc.
Method-1 (Install the Base Front Panel Unit with the Filter
Unit securely )
When servicing, install the Base Front Panel Unit (with the
Filter Unit), and tighten at least 2 Screws on the Base Front
Panel Unit as shown below so that the Front Fan (Intake
fan) is covered securely with the Filter.
Method-2 (Use Filter tool)
Install the Filter tool (LSYF0532) on the Front Fan. Refer to
"HOW TO INSTALL THE FILTER TOOL."

COOLING OPERATION
The lamp cooling fan will continue to operate for approximately
1 minute after the power is turned off.
At the same time, the POWER LED will flash red.
Do not disconnect the AC Cord from the power outlet and do
not open any circuit breakers while the cooling fan is still
operating.
